Every state has its unusual names. There is Truth or Consequences, Nevada; Nothing, Arizona; Stinking Bay, Arkansas, and hundreds of others.

Pennsylvania has its own set of odd city names. For one reason or another, people thought that the name was appropriate. Consider Unalaska, Alaska. It sounds like a silly name, but there is a good bit of history to it. That name came into existence because the people of that town did not want to be part of Alaska.
